After the break, a draw seemed eminent, until Crysencio Summerville bagged a wild and dramatic late winner, to send Leeds out of the relegation zone.
The defeat, which follow last weekend’s loss to Nottingham forest, leaves Jurgen Klopp’s side at ninth on the log, while Leeds move up to 15th.
