Manchester City defeated Fulham 2-1 to leapfrog to the top of the Premier League for the first time since February, a point ahead of Arsenal.
High-scoring Norwegian, Erling Haaland put City ahead from the spot, barely three minutes into the game, taking his goal tally to a record 34 in the EPL and 50 in all competitions this season.
Carlos Vinicius pulled an equalizer for Fulham before Julian Alvarez put City back in front. All the action took place in the first half as both team didn’t register any more goals after the break.
Arsenal will take on Chelsea on Tuesday and will be hoping to get a win and return to the summit.
