EPL: Man Utd intensify top four chases with Win over Everton

Manchester United kept their hopes for a top-four finish alive with a deserved 2-0 victory over Everton.

Scott McTominay’s shot in the first half and Anthony Martial’s off-the-bench goal, which doubled as the Frenchman’s first Premier League goal since December, were enough to give United all three points and leave Everton deep in relegation concerns.

The Red Devils displayed a high level of dominance throughout the game and the scoreline could have been higher, but for wasted chances and some excellent saves by Everton’s goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford.

The only downside to United’s game was Marcus Rashford was forced to leave due to what seemed like an injury.–mOmt636baFSQ&s=19
