Fireboy breaks down in tears as he becomes the first Afrobeats Artiste to perform at the iconic Wembley Stadium

Afrobeats and RnB sensation, Adedamola Adefolahan, better known professionally as Fireboy DML could not hold back his tears as he performed at the iconic 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium.

Fireboy set a new record as the first-ever Nigerian to perform at the iconic venue. He performed his song Peru remix which featured British singer, Ed Sheeran.

He teared up backstage following his performance which makes him the first African act to perform at the venue.

Sharing a clip of his performance, Fireboy said; “Thank you Wembley!”

The singer has also revealed when fans should expect to get his third studio album, ‘Playboy’.

The YBNL signee came into the limelight after releasing his no-feature debut album, ‘Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps‘, which was widely accepted. The singer followed up the momentum with another album titled ‘Apollo’ and is set to release his third studio album, ‘Playboy’.
