“I can’t hide it anymore”-Mercy Aigbe hints at dating Broda Shaggi
Popular Actress, Mercy Aigbe seems to have been given a second chance at love after her marriage to Lanre Gentry ended in a controversial mess.
Mercy had hinted two months ago that she has found a new lover, whom she referred to as “D’owner”.
However, in a recent post, the actress shared a loved-up photo with popular Nigerian comedian, Animashaun Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi. In the picture, they wore the same Ankara outfit and she was all smiling in Brother Shaggi’s arms.
Sharing the photo, she warned her fans to desist from linking her love life to their age differences, considering she is 43 years old, while Broda Shaggi is 28 years old. She insists that age is just a number and plays no role in matters of the heart.
She said:
“Ladies and Gentlemen behold D’Owner, I can’t hide it anymore. Please no one should come with I am older, this is a matter of the heart! Just be happy for us! And move on

In reaction, Broda Shaggi commented “My Baby”, in the affirmative.
Mercy Aigbe used to be married to Lanre Gentry, with whom she shares two children until Gentry recently tied the knot with his new bride, Oluwabusayo. The now-estranged couple separated in 2017, and they’ve had a number of soiled fights on social media. The latest battle was on Father’s day when Mercy Aigbe attacked him for being a ‘deadbeat dad‘ and he retaliated, threatening to expose her ‘prostitution‘ and false life.
