“Stop lying, your husband hit you”– Fans tackle Helen Paul for claiming her ‘black eye’ was from an accident
Popular Nigerian comedian, Helen Paul has garnered the attention of Netizens after she recounted her experience from four months ago which left her with a black eye.
The comedian, in an Instagram post, revealed that she was involved in an accident four months ago and that accident left her with a black eye, causing her to always cover up with sunglasses even while taking photos with friends and fans. She said her frequent use of the sunglasses irritated people and they felt she was being proud, not knowing the true state of things.
Helen wrote:
“Some time ago, I was involved in a car accident in Abuja. I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while. When taking pictures with others, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them.
Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star. They were totally oblivious of the true situation. Not all things are truly what they appear to be.
