Jamie Foxx hospitalized after suffering medical complications
Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is currently hospitalized in Georgia, after suffering some medical complications.
His daughter Corinne Foxx shared on Instagram that her father had experienced a “medical complication,” adding that he is “on his way to recovery.”
The post read: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
She did not specify what happened medically but added, “We know how beloved he is and appreciates your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
While the exact nature of the medical emergency was not disclosed, sources with “direct knowledge” told TMZ that Foxx was taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning, and his condition was “serious enough” that members of his family traveled into town. “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news,” one source noted.
Alan Nierob, a spokesman for Jamie Foxx, declined to share anything beyond Corinne Foxx’s Instagram post.
