Liverpool through to FA cup final with victory over Man City
Liverpool secured a slim 3-2 victory over Manchester City to scale through to the FA Cup final as they look towards clinching a historic quadruple this season, having won the Carabao Cup, are in the last four of the Champions League while sitting second in the Premier League.
An early goal from Ibrahima Konate and a brace from Sadio Mane gave Klopp’s side a 3-0 lead heading into the break.
The game was giving off less steam than last Sunday’s clash between both teams until Jack Grealish pulled one back early in the second half before Bernardo Silva got a second goal late on for the Citizens.
Pep’s men looked set for a dramatic comeback but Liverpool held on and will go kny to face either Chelsea or Crystal Palace, who meet later today, ahead of May 14, 2022.
