Man who was in the car where Mohbad was pronounced dead finally opens up about incident; see leaked chats

Aderinte Ademola, the young man who was in the vehicle where late singer Mohbad’s death was announced and the video shared online, has opened up on the recent controversies surrounding the singer’s death.

A video of three young men inside a vehicle with Mohbad positioned on their lap went viral on September 12 when the singer died. One of them was weeping as he shouted Mohbad is dead. Ademola was seated in the middle of the three young men.

Investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who shared her ‘findings’ from her ‘private investigation’ into Mohbad’s death, had alleged that Aderinte Ademole had fled to Dubai to evade police investigation.

She asked on Twitter,

“Why was Sanusi the boy with dreads immediately flown to Dubai after Mohbad was allegedly murdered? He’s described as a Dubai based crypto yahoo boy. Sanusi was also spotted in the car with Mohbad’s body, the car dealership and near Iyabo Ojo signing the condolence register.”

The young man has now come forward to refute the accusation of leaving the country. 

In a live session on his IG, Ademola maintained that he is in Lagos and not in Dubai as being peddled on social media.

He further disclosed that he, along with Mohbad’s brother and wife, were interrogated by the police and gave their statements at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department on September 20th.

He further expressed his confusion regarding social media commentator Very Dark Man, who is pointing fingers at him without knowing the full story.

“Yes me mohbad Jnr brother his wife the other guy and the his snr brother who drove the car. Yes we all went to the state cid on the 20th for the investigation and wrote a statement down.

“So I don’t know why that verydarkman is still dragging me for what he’s not present. PIs they should stop chasing clout and tarnishing my image they don’t even know me I’m not sanusi

“I didn’t fly anywhere l’m at home. They want to spoil my football career saying a lot of shit I don’t even know anyone except from moh and he’s family.”
