“Mohbad’s spirit won’t let me rest” – Bella Shmurda starts Protest

Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late singer Mohbad has staged a #justiceforMohbad protest, imploring youths and ardent Mohbad supporters to unite in the battle for justice on behalf of his late friend.

Mohbad was initially signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records but later left in 2022 to establish his imprint, “Imolerization”. However, his exit from Marlian Records in 2022 stirred up controversies, leading to strained relations with his former boss, Naira Marley.

While the circumstances of Mohbad’s passing remain undisclosed, Netizens blame the death of Mohbad on his former Label boss,  Naira Marley, prompting Bella Shmurda to begin this march for justice.

According to Bella, he waited five days after his friend’s death to speak because he had hoped the police would have taken swift action to ensure Mohbad did not die in vain.

Bella revealed the late singer’s spirit has not let him rest, and he is ready to go through legal and illegal means to get justice for Mohbad.

In an assertive stance, Bella Shmurda demands the apprehension of Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, the Marlians music clique, and socialite Sam Larry, all of whom have all reportedly absconded from the country.

Bella’s tweet reads;

“In the past few days have tried my best not to carry phone nd type anything but Mohbad spirit won’t let me rest knowing I’m the only one make his spirit calm by making those of them who make him live in fear nd almost with nothing to feed on never also get rest nd he don start.

“Yes I mean wahaLa just wan start like this I NO GO GREE nd I mean it Samlarry nd whole marlians music must be arrested make all of us Dey police nd if the Nigerian police too weak as body to fish this people out we do it street,legal or illegal.”

“Pounds for pounds,flesh for flesh. Whether u be aiye oo,eiye oo,or sealords whatever it may be this boy sang for make us happy, jubilate,think,rejoice supported even while is in pains nd living in fear.

“Now it’s our time to do our part for him I want everyone with one voice let get him justice all hands on deck #justice for Mohbad fish dem out legal or illegal.

“Any which way like this war don start. If they all ran out the country which shows that they’re actually guilt of whatever crime were said to have committed by them and they all know they should never come back nd they should ban from entering the country for life.”

This comes shortly after Bella Shmurda canceled his Canada tour with regards to his friend’s death.

As more details emerge about the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s passing, the late singer’s mother voiced her suspicions that her son’s death was not a natural one but rather a tragedy shrouded in mystery.

“My son’s death wasn’t a natural one, he was k#I|£d. My son hasn’t knöwn peace ever since he got involved with Naira Marley”, his mother stated.

Other celebrities, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, Toyin Abraham and Tonto Dikeh have also joined in this protest.

Tonto Dikeh in an open letter to Marlian Record boss, queried the statement he released over Mohbad’s death. She wrote;

“Is Naira Marley playing with us? What the fxxk is that letter you posted? Who are you asking questions? Where is Larry sam you sent to frustrate mohbad with cutlazz(and people were thinking it’s cane…Look well)…

“I will suggest You better SHUT UP(you look prettier with your mouth closed anyway) and keep dancing on Snapchat while we seek justice.. The last thing you will want to do is TAKE (US) MOHBAD’s FANs FOR A FOOL

“It’s so heart breaking to see what Mohad went through right in front of our eyes, we were made to believe this young soul was A D$ug addict by Naria Marley, why all the while he was screaming for help @ndlea nigeria if a dy$ng man said you gave him a substance to drink he believes was poision THEN YOU DID. How is it that you caught a 5th hand party peddler but stay snapping picture with the king pin of it all? Even the @ndlea nigeria is not to be trust.

I remember sending a letter to their office and an insider told me KING TONTO THEY WOULDNT TAKE YOU SERIOUS, Because you really mean change. They don’t want change Everyone fighting the Mohbad case, be careful how you travel.

Never have a checked- in bag, if you do double check it and make sure officials open and search in your presence(be alert when this is done)… if you have a hand luggage pack it up your self and never let it leave your sight… PLEASE, we need to be free and safe to fight for justice!!!”
