Winner of the BBnaija ‘Shine Ya Eye‘edition, Hazel Oyeze Onou, better known as Whitemoney vows that one day he will win one of the highest honors in the music industry, the Grammy Award.
In a video that he shared on his social media, Whitemoney was seen with a brush in his mouth which he later on removed to rap to a song that he is probably working on.
While rapping the song, he ensured those doubting him that he will surely win the Grammy someday.
“Music is food to my system, for those who don’t believe I don’t blame you, I am trying to make more friends and fewer enemies, I promise one day I go win the Grammys”, his lyric read.
This is not the first time Whitemoney is making such an open declaration. After he ventured into the music industry and released his first single, “Selense”, he was faced with heavy criticisms.
Some Nigerians commended him, while others asked him to stop trying music and use his prize money for something better, adding that he’s not that talented in that aspect.
Responding to criticisms of his music career, Whitemoney on CoolFm said his music was not for everyone, adding that he does not need to have a sleek voice to impress the audience.
