Saga makes U-turn, Reveals Engagement to Nini was NOT a skit 

Big Brother Naija star, Saga Deolu has retracted his statement about his engagement with his Love interest, Nini, being a skit.

It would be recalled that Saga shocked his fans and followers on Tuesday when he revealed in an interview on Naija FM that his engagement to Nini was a ruse.

According to him, it was a very private video and he doesn’t know how it found its way to the internet, stating that he was surprised when he got wind of its virality.

When asked if they would tie the knot soon, the reality star laughed and said, “Tie the what? The video na skit.”

This came weeks after photos and videos from the romantic proposal surfaced on the internet, leaving many fans excited that Saga’s relentless pursuit of Nini in the BBNaija house had finally paid off.

After raising our hopes high, Saga on his interview with Naija FM  debunked being engaged, saying the viral ‘proposal video’ was a skit from December 2022.  

However, in a recent chat with Arise TV, Saga made a U-turn, stating that the engagement clip is not a skit and that he is not so idle as to randomly decide to propose to someone, just to chase clout. He also disclosed that he proposed to Nini after a brand engagement for a wine company in December.

Saga also appealed to his fans, followers, and Nigerians in general to grant him and Nini their privacy and to respect it.
