See The True Reason Behind Burna Boy Winning Best Global Music Album At 2021 Grammys.
Nigerian international musician Damini Ogulu popularly know as Burna Boy, finally got his first anticipating Grammys award, which was a big deal for him and the whole Nigerian entertainment industry.
Burna boy was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category of the 63rd annual grammy awards, which was held on Sunday night. March 14. 2021.
His album Twice as Tall album won the award over records by Antibalas (FU Chronicles), Bebel Gilberto (Agora), Anoushka Shankar (Love Letters), and Tinariwen (Amadjar).
Aside being nominated and winning the grammys, the giant of Africa ended the award ceremony with his grand performance.
The win marks BurnaBoy’s first Grammy Award after being nominated last year, but was beaten by ANGELIQUE KIDJO.
