“So I fit break the internet like this?”- Yul Edochie throws a jab at his critics who never supported his political ambitions
Nollywood actor cum politician, Yul Edochie has been trending since Thursday, April 29, after he shared a photo of his new baby, whom he had with his second wife, actress Judy Austin.
His revelation triggered a lot of reactions. Many took sides with him while others criticised his actions considering he has been married to his wife for 17years.
In a new post on his Instagram page, Yul expressed surprise that his polygamous marriage could break the internet instead of his career achievements or societal contribution.
The father of five berated Nigerians for focusing on controversy as he mentioned the different ways he felt he could have been recognised but did not get the necessary accolades, instead it was a negative information that made him trend.
“So, I fit break internet like this? So, I can get over 60,000 comments on one post? But I dey act film, dey give Una Hollywood performance since, Una no send me. Best voice Una no send me. I ran for governorship, Una no send me. I have been a strong voice for the people, been an activist. I do endsars Una no send me. I wan run for President Una still no send me. But na this one scatter internet. Na this wan come make Una send me finally. Na wa for Una o,” he wrote.
His posts is now being interpreted by many to be cryptic. They suggest that the whole controversy is either a prank or a PR stunt.
Meanwhile, a blogger has alleged that it was all a stunt and the lady in question, Judy Austin paid Yul handsomely to make her name trend on social media.
In the blogger’s words,
“The truth is finally out. Yul Edochie did not marry any second wife, let alone having a child with her.
The news now is that Actor Yul Edochie was paid handsomely by actress Judy to make her name trend on social media.
Don’t forget Yul is into advertisement. It was all a prank”.
