UCL: Harry Kane bags double as Bayern seal quarter-finals spot

Harry Kane got on the score sheet twice as Bayern Munich overturned a first-leg deficit to secure a 3-0(3-1 on aggregate) against Lazio and progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Already down by a goal they conceded in the first encounter between both sides in Rome, Thomas Tuchel’s men kept the pressure on and it was looking like Bayern would be for a long night in an attempt to break through Lazio’s defence, Kane headed home the opener in the 38th minute.

That was the light the German champions had been searching for, as that was followed by a second goal right in the nick of halftime by Thomas Muller.

In the second half, Kane was once again, at the right place, at the right time, and did what he is best at, he scored the third goal in the 66 minutes, condemning Lazio to a heartbreaking defeat and elimination from the tournament.
