UCL SEMIS: Bayern, Madrid play out stalemate in first leg

Real Madrid came from behind to hold Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their Champions League tie at the Allianz Arena, leaving the fixture still very open.

Madrid took the lead before having time, thanks to Vinicius Junior, after the break, Leroy Sane, scored a belter to bring the host on leveled terms.

Four minutes after the equalizer,  Harry Kane put Thomas Tuchel’s men in front from the spot.

It looked like the German giants were going to keep all three points to themselves, but in the 83rd minute, Vini, made no mistakes from the spot, after a penalty was awarded to Madrid, following a foul on Rodrygo.

The second leg will take place next week on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, with Madrid having the home advantage, although both teams still have a lot to play for.
