Venita Akpofure apologises to Esther months after calling her out on Twitter

Former Big Brother Naija housemates Venita Akpofure and Esther Agunbiade have finally put an end to their feud, months after dragging each other on social media.

Esther and Venita’s rift started during the fifth season’s reunion of BBNaija. While on the show, there was a love Triangle among Venita, Frodd and Esther. Then at the reunion, Tolanibaj talked about getting ”closer” to Neo.

This revelation caused a media uproar and just like many followers of the show, Esther, a former housemate took a swipe at Tolani Baj. 

It didn’t take long before Venita replied to Esther with the maxim, ‘kettle calling pot black.’ Be guided! We know how you move around your friend’s love interest boo!”Venita slammed.

However, in a recent development, Esther made a tweet, “Cleanse your space and cultivate love”. And Venita responded with a public apology. She said she knows Esther accepted her apology months ago in private but since their altercation was public, it’s only wise to tender a public apology to her as well.

“In the spirit of this tweet, I apologize to you in full. I totally jumped the gun. I know you have accepted my apology in person months ago but I’m big on principles. If the offense was public, the apology should have the same energy. As usual, you look amazing. May Favour b urs,” Venita tweeted.
