You’re Screaming “Daddy” While Burna Is Screaming “Grammy” – Uche Maduagwu Mocks Davido

A video of  Davido driving his new Rolls Royce Cullinan as he called on his father, Dr. Adeleke, who was driving a Bentley, has been making the rounds on all platforms.

In the video, the two drove out and Davido moved behind his dad during the father and son moment, so he called on his dad to go ahead while he came behind. He jested that he had to drive slowly due to his old man in front of him.

Nigerians have reacted differently to this father and son moment, hailing both of them and stressing that money is good and people should work towards attaining great heights. But actor Uche Maduagwu’s reaction to the video has triggered the internet.

Reacting to Davido’s video, Uche compared Davido’s moment with his father to Burnaboy’s Grammy win. Uche mocked Davido telling him that he’s busy screaming “My daddy” while his mate Burnaboy is screaming “My Grammy”.

He also called Davido a “daddy’s boy”, stressing that he publicly proposed marriage to Chioma but has refused to publicly announce their break up because he knows the Grammy awards cannot get to him without Chioma by his side.

Here’s what he wrote;

“Naija music industry get levels, driving your father’s Rolls Royce and screaming my daddy is one, winning globally with your music and screaming GRAMMY is another higher level. Davido told Bolanle he was the biggest Naija artiste even while Beyonce didn’t feature him but worked with others. Now it’s very clear that Grammy will not reach his hand without marrying Chioma. Baba is now screaming ‘my daddy’. Imagine what Chioma will be going through now emotionally? Only a daddy’s boy will come to social media and propose marriage but will not come back to announce breakup”.
