Barcelona set up Spanish Super Cup Final against Real Madrid

Barcelona saw off a stubborn Real Betis 4-2 on penalities to set up a Spanish Super Cup Final against arch rivals, Real Madrid on Sunday.

Xavi’s men squandered a the lead twice as Betis held them to a 2-2 draw past extra time. It took heroics from Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the penalty shoot out, to get Barca through.

Real Madrid also defeated Valencia on penalities to progress to the Super Cup Final.
