Actor Amaechi Muonagor pleads for financial assistance to undergo kidney transplant in India

Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor is pleading for financial assistance from Nigerians to undergo kidney transplants in India.

Muonagor, who is a regular figure in Nollywood, was rumored to be suffering from kidney problems a few months ago, but the situation appears to have deteriorated, as a fresh disturbing video of the actor made its way to the internet.

A video circulating online, however, shows him trying to communicate while on his sick bed. The actor, who was barely audible in the video, greeted in Igbo before saying additional things that were impossible to understand due to his poor voice.

His cousin later, gave an update on his illness, disclosing that the actor is battling kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke and pleading with the public to come to his aid.

He stated that Amaechi has been undergoing weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to treat the paralysis brought on by stroke.

Now the actor’s health has degenerated and needs financial support to undergo a kidney transplant in India. In a video posted online, the actor pleaded for help from Nigerians to save his life.

From the video which has since gone viral, Muonagor’s face was bloated, and a plaster was visible on his chest.

The video elicited a flood of emotional responses from netizens who empathized with the bedridden actor.
