Barcelona see off Real Madrid to clinch Spanish Super Cup
Xavi’s Barcelona were the best team in Sunday’s El Clasico Spanish Super Cup final, as they put three goals past Real Madrid to lift the trophy.
Barca went into the break with a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Gavi and Robert Lewandowski.
Pedri made it three after the break and though Karim Benzema bagged a goal late on, it was nothing but a consolation, as nothing could be done to prevent their arch rivals from taking home the trophy from Saudi Arabia.
