Chelsea failed to get a response following their mid-week loss to Man Utd, as Everton handed them yet another defeat on Sunday.
Having played out a goalless first half, second-half goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin, secured a third successive win at home, for the first time in three years.
The defeat, Chelsea’s seventh in the league this season, saw Mauricio Pochettino’s side drop from 10th to 12th in the table, while the victory moved Everton, who suffered point deductions four points off the relegation zone to 17th on the log.
