“I Jumped Into A River In The Midnight So That Nobody Will Be Able To Rescue Me” Ijoba Lande speaks on his disappearance

Comedian Ijoba Lande who was declared missing a few days ago has finally opened up on the reason for his disappearance.

Recall that family of the comedian, as well as Yoruba Nollywood stars, had raised the alarm over the disappearance of his disappearance.

His wife, in a video that went viral, had cried out, stating that the comedian didn’t return home after he left the house on March 26th. To worsen the situation, Ijoba Lande had left his phone at home.

Yesterday, actress Kemi Korede shared the good news that Ijoba Lande has been found.

In a video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, his colleague, Oluwatosin Ijesaekun explained that a lady who saw a post about him missing found him, called her friends and the news of his whereabouts was made known.

According to them, Ijoba was found in Igando, Lagos State with the help of some vigilante members who contacted his family.

Speaking on the reason for his disappearance, Ijoba Lande with teary eyes said he decided to go missing for several days due to the problems he is currently facing. He said he had to jump into a river in the middle of the night so that nobody would rescue him.

In the statement he made in the video, he said, “It was 8 p.m. when I got to the area, so I waited until 12 p.m. so that people would not notice me.” I jumped into the river at midnight so that nobody would be able to rescue me. “I’m not stupid, and I’m an adult, but the problems I’m facing made me take the decision to go missing.”

Ganiyu Kehinde professionally known as Ijoba Lande is a Nigerian social media comedian, motivational speaker, filmmaker, and actor with a large fan base on Instagram and TikTok. He became popular after one of his videos went viral in 2019. Since then, he has released several comedy skits on his Instagram page and even made a brand ambassador.

In 2019, Ijoba Lande produced his first Nollywood movie (Yoruba) titled Ijoba Lande which featured big names in the industry.
