“I spent N80 million for my cookathon” – Hilda Baci cries out over N3m breach with brand

Hilda Baci has shared her own side of the story after a brand, Ann’s Concept accused her of a N35million breach of contract.

According to the brand, Hilda was paid N3 million to attend an event Which she had agreed to initially. 

A few hours before the time of the event, the chef cancelled the event and publicly denied knowledge of it.

The furious brand management called out the chef, noting that her action has caused a negative impression on her brand.

In her defence, Hilda Baci said she had asked the brand for their account details to refund them but they refused to comply.

Hilda maintained that she had already told them from the onset that she was not comfortable with the arrangement because she couldn’t charge her fans for a meet and greet session.

According to her, her cookathon was meant to provide an opportunity for people to come, eat, and drink. She explained that it was a massive undertaking that required a lot of funds to pull off.

She went on to disclose that she spent a whooping 80million Naira on her cook-a-thon.

“I spent over N80m of my hard earned money for my cookathon so people could eat and drink for free,” she said.

Hilda also tagged the brand as irresponsible, and went ahead to leak their chat.
