“I wasn’t aware he was married” – BBN Maria speaks on allegations of snatching lover, Kelvin, from his wife

ormer Big Brother Naija star, Maria Chike Benjamin, has yet again, claimed that she didn’t know that her lover, Kelvin, was married when they started dating.

Recall that back in 2021, socialite, Cubana Chiefpriest, called out the reality TV star for having an amorous relationship with his sister’s husband, Kelvin. Not stopping there, he also accused the reality TV star of sending threatening messages to his sister adding that she shamelessly keeps showing off expensive gifts gotten for her by another woman’s husband.

Maria, however, did not confirm or refute the rumour until July 2022, when she went on a Twitter rage to address the rumours. She stated that she did not ruin anybody’s home or snatch anybody’s husband, adding that she choose to remain silent about the rumour for the best interest of those involved

However, in a recent interview with Chude, Maria, again, maintained that she did not ruin Kelvin’s marriage and that she chose to remain silent about the rumor for the sake of those concerned.

She further revealed that she had no idea that he was married when they first met and started dating.

Her words,

“I wasn’t aware whether or not he was married when we first started dating. What I am going to stand by and that’s the gospel truth is that I didn’t destroy any marriage. I have never and I will never.”
