“I Wrote Most Of Your Hit Songs, Put Some Respect On My Name” — Kuami Eugene Slams Mzvee
Ghanaian highlife artiste Eugene Kwame Marfo, known to many as Kuami Eugene, recently revealed in an interview that he wrote the majority of Mzvee’s hit songs when they were under Lynx record label.
Mzvee had earlier compared her achievements to that of Kwame. She said that she is now a solo artiste and working on herself alone while Kwame is still under management and everything is being fully sponsored by the management.
However, in a recent development, Kuami Eugene requested that Mzvee should put respect on his name and show some appreciation because he helped her in her musical journey when she was with Lynx Entertainment.
“I wrote most of Mzvee’s songs, she should show a little appreciation for what I did for her than make it seem I did nothing for her”, Kwami said.
Also in a previous chat on his Uncut show, Kwami told Zionfelix that he regards MzVee as a senior sister and colleague in the music industry, hence he will follow her steps wherever she leads him. He also stated that he has no personal grudges with the songstress but he has no recollection of following her on Instagram. However, he also mentioned that he will only be willing to follow MzVee on Instagram if she also follows him on the platform as well.
