Joao Felix sees red on debut as Chelsea woos continue in defeat at Fulham

Joao Felix’s Premier League debut didn’t go quite as planned, as the on loan Portuguese Winger, got shown a straight red in the second half of the West London derby between Chelsea and Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The youngster who joined Chelsea on Wednesday from Atletico Madrid for a 9.7 million loan deal that will run till the end of the season, was having a pretty impressive outing before the tackle on Kenny Tete in the 58th minute, which attracted a red card and three match bans.

At the time of the incident, Kalidou Koulibaly, had brought the Blues on levelled terms, in response to Willian’s first half opener.

Carlos Vinicius went to head home a 72nd minute winner to seal victory for the hosts, and condemn Graham Potter’s side to  yet another defeat.

The win is Fulham’s sixth in a row and moved them up to sixth on the log.
