Kevin de Bruyne shines as Man City thrash wolves

Kevin de Bruyne got his name on the score sheet four times, as Manchester City thrashed Wolves 5-1 to re-establish their three-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

The Belgian was a formidable force on the night as his first hat-trick for City, the third-quickest in Premier League history, gave the visitors a 3-1 lead at the break.

The terrific midfielder made it four after the break before Raheem Sterling sealed the win with a fifth late on.

Pep Guardiola’s side now need only four points from their last two games to see them finish above Liverpool and win their fourth title in five seasons.
