Tristan Thompson denies cheating claims and threatens legal action

Tristan has denied cheating allegations with Sydney Chase. He also hired a legal team to shoot down allegations from the Instagram model. 

Sydney Chase recently claimed she had sex with Tristan since he and Khloe reunited. She also claims to have received various salacious texts from him. 

Tristan has denied these allegations, calling her a liar. He also had his attorney, Marty Singer, fire off a cease and desist letter to Sydney, where he called her allegations “malicious defamatory fabrications,” adding that if Chase doesn’t stop “defaming” Thompson in the media or online, “you do so at your peril since you may find yourself in court attempting to defend your indefensible misconduct.”

“It is obvious that you are a liar. Your claim that you had a relationship with Mr. Thompson is pure fiction. The purported texts you claim exist are equally fictitious, and they put words in my client’s mouth that he never said that are contrary to his thoughts and feelings. This is defamatory”, the letter obtained by Page Six reads. The letter also demanded Chase provide any texts she allegedly received from Thompson for review, as texts can be “manipulated and faked.”

The letter was also extended to Adam22, host of the “No Jumper” podcast on which Chase initially blabbed the cheating allegations. The letter has prompted the podcast to remove the portion of Sydney’s interview where she talked about the alleged fling. 

Sydney has however confirmed she received Tristan Thompson’s cease-and-desist letter but took to Instagram on Wednesday to state that she won’t be yielding to Thompson’s attorney, Marty Singer’s missive.

“I finally received the cease & desist hours after I made my post online,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “It was first sent to an email I no longer use. However, I’m moving forward with the truth & am choosing not to comply.

“I will not be called a liar,” she concluded.

When asked by Page Six if she had any evidence of their alleged affair, Chase said, “Yes, I obviously do but this is now a legal matter that lawyers will handle. Thanks.”
