UCL: Liverpool snatch late winner against Ajax
Liverpool had to dig deep to grab their first Champions League victory with a stoppage time winner against Ajax.
Having succumbed to an embarrassing 4-1 defeat at Napoli last week, Jurgen Klopp’s side needed to react, accordingly, with a win.
Mohamed Salah gave the Reds a 17 minute lead, before Mohammed Kudus equalized in the 27th minute.
Both sides kept going at it after the break and after a handful of missed chances, it was Joel Matip’s 89th minute header that made the difference a d handed Liverpool a much needed win.
