UCL: Porto edge Arsenal with stoppage time winner

Arsenal suffered a late 1-0 defeat to Porto in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Arterta’s men had been underwhelming throughout the game failing to get even a shot on target and thought they had gotten off with a draw, but Wenderson Galeno curled home a superb strike to break the deadlock right at the nick of time.

Arsenal are looking to scale through to the UCL quarter-finals for the first time since 2009-10 and could get the chance to redeem themselves when they host the Portuguese side for the return leg at the Emirates on March 12, 2024.

NAPOLI 1 – 1 BARCELONA

In the other game of the night, Napoli held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw. Second-half goals from Lewandowski and Osimhen means both sides have all to play for on the return leg at Nou Camp.
