DJ Cuppy is Engaged
One of Nigeria’s most eligible spinsters, DJ Cuppy has been taken off the market by her 29-year-old British boxer boyfriend, Ryan Taylor.
The professional boxer proposed to Cuppy at the Gumball award night in Abu Dhabi. Viral videos show the moment Ryan went on one of his knees and made the proposal.
The obviously excited DJ Cuppy said yes to the marriage proposal after which the couple shared a passionate hug and kiss while the DJ of the event played ‘Marry You, a song by Bruno Mars in the background.
As expected, her engagement triggered massive reactions being that Cuppy never gave the slightest hint that she is in a relationship. She’ll rather lament on her singlehood and only share pictures of her puppies.
A Twitter user, @ OlisaOsega , wrote “I just woke up and saw that DJ Cuppy is now engaged. This was someone who has always claimed to be single here. Lmao not everyone who tweets “God when” here is actually single. Some people are in a sweet relationship and are ‘God whening’ with you. Congratulations to Cuppy.”
@SirDavid bent tweeted, “DJ Cuppy ignored all the people trolling her about how old she was getting and still staying in her father’s house, and made her silent moves. She knew how controversial her relationship would have been if she brought it online. A very wise girl in my opinion. Congratulations.”

Meanwhile, It is not surprising to know that Cuppy’s husband to be is a boxer.
Cuppy has always made her love for boxers known. From striking a friendship with Anthony Joshua, to meeting Lawrence Okolie.
Majority thought she was going to end up with heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, who she has declared love for on several occasion.
Cuppy even went as far as photo-shopping herself with him in a traditional attire in 2020.
