EPL: Chelsea suffer defeat to West Ham in five-goal thriller
West Ham came from behind twice to see off Chelsea in Saturday’s thrilling London Derby and end the Blue’s 13 games unbeaten run.
Off to a bright start, Thiago Silva, gave Chelsea the lead in the 28th minute, before Manuel Lanzini levelled things up 12 minutes later.
With a minute left to half time, Chelsea regained there lead when Mason Mount sent a volley into the back of the net.
After the break, Jarrod Bowen, brought the hosts back in levelled terms and all almost seemed set for a draw, until Arthur Masuaku’s 87th minute strike gave the Hammers the advantage and three massive points, sending their fans into wild celebrations.
The defeat means Chelsea drop to third after Liverpool beat Wolves and Manchester City won at Watford.
