EPL: Manchester United ends Arsenal’s unbeaten run
Manchester United’s new signing Antony opened his account for the Red Devils with a goal, as Erik ten Hag’s side put an end to Arsenal’s perfect start to the season in a classic face off at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian got his debut goal ten minutes before the break, some minutes after Gabriel Martinelli goal ruled out after a VAR review.
After the break, Bukayo Saka, brought Arsenal back into the game but Marcus Rashford grabbed a double to seal United’s fourth win, as the Red Devils continue to recover from their dismissal start to the season.
Despite the defeat, Arsenal remain top of the league, while Manchester United is at fifth, two behind second placed Man City, two points ahead of sixth places Chelsea and three ahead of Liverpool, who are seventh on the log.
