“Lil Frosh would’ve gone far if not for his girlfriend assault issue” – YBNL JBrandy

JBrandy, a member of YBNL nation has asserted that young musician, Sani Goriola Wasiu, popularly called, Lil Frosh would have gone far in the music industry if he was not embroiled in a domestic assault matter years ago.

Recall that back in 2020, Lil Frosh’s girlfriend, Gift Camille accused him of brutalizing her. The gift had reported that the singer was fond of beating her repeatedly since January 2020, when they newly started dating, to the point of disfiguring her face.

The video vixen, who couldn’t take the maltreatment anymore, took to her Instagram page to share a couple of pictures of her swollen face, as well as file a lawsuit against the singer at the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba.

Lil Frosh who was signed to Davido’s record label, DMW at the time, had his contract abruptly terminated in October of that year as a result of the weighty allegations.

In a recent update, JBrandy posted a picture of Frosh alongside his ex-girlfriend, with the caption;

“Lil  Frosh would’ve gone so far under DMW if that stuff didn’t happen”.

Meanwhile, Gift, had in a statement posted on her social media accounts stated that her biggest regret was speaking up about the domestic violence she suffered at the hands of the singer.

“I Regret ever speaking up and telling the world that Lhil Frosh was beating me.

Till today everyone is using it against me to mock and laugh at me, I will never advise any woman facing Domestic Violence to come out and speak up because in this society nobody cares”, she wrote.
