Man Utd secure vital win against Chelsea

The game between Man Utd and Chelsea on Wednesday was basically a clash of pride, and United ended up with bragging rights courtesy of Scott McTominay’s brace.

The Scot man put Ten Hag’s side ahead 19 minutes into the game, after captain, Bruno Fernandes had missed a penalty. United enjoyed the lead till Cole Palmer levelled for Pochettino’s side right on the stroke of halftime. 

After the break, both teams continued the pattern of missing chances, before McTominay jumped highest to pick up a pass from Alejandro Garnacho in the 69th minute, to head home the eventual winner.

The result was much needed for Man Utd who have continued to endure a rough patch, and a win would have helped Chelsea as well, but United held on, and safe to say the team that wanted it most, got it.
