Patricia Pinkett files for divorce from Jada Pinkett’s brother after 17 years of marriage

Jada Pinkett Smith’s brother Caleeb Pinkett and his wife Patricia are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage.

On Monday, Caleeb Pinkett’s wife Patricia Pinkett filed for divorce in Los Angeles, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. 

The couple had been married since 2006 and separated in February 2020, the court documents show. 

Caleb was last pictured with Trisha in February 2022 during a ‘fun’ family outing to Sherman Oaks Castle Park for miniature golf.

Citing ‘irreconcilable differences,’ Patricia requested spousal support as well as joint legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old daughter Caila Koren Pinkett, while also requesting spousal support from Caleeb and for the court to terminate its ability to award Caleeb spousal support.

 The Pinketts are also parents of two adult children – 30-year-old daughter Jade Pinkett and 24-year-old son Jah Pinkett.

News of Caleeb’s impending divorce comes just days after Jada, 52, revealed in an interview on the Today show that she and Will, 55, have been living separate lives for 7 years and basically carrying on a public charade as a married couple. While Jada and Will have been separated for years too, Jada says they will NOT get divorced.
